A 19th Century cylinder with digital hour indication in a slim gold and enamel case. Gilt keywind bar movement with suspended going barrel. Plain cock with blue steel regulator, plain three arm gold balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, steel escape wheel. The hours indicated in a small circular glazed aperture above a larger aperture for the minutes, fine blue steel hand. Both apertures in the front cover glazed. Opening the cover reveals the engine turned silver dial with its offset chapter for the minutes. Slim gold case decorated overall with black champleve enamel, gold and enamel pendant and bow. Wound and set through the gold cuvette. Small morocco covered presentation case lined with purple velvet.
