Vintage Native American Double Row Snake Eye Bracelet Blue Turqu
This stunning vintage petit point Native American sterling silver bracelet is classically designed and crafted, with twenty-four natural turquoise snake-eye cabochons set beautifully across the face of it. I hope you will take note of the pleasingly blue turquoise color in each of the stones. Many snake-eye bracelets have only eight or ten turquoise stones per row, so this one is a rare find. Each turquoise stone is a uniform color, as opposed to a variety of shades of turquoise, and it will match your other high desert accessories beautifully. The Bell Trading Post stamped hallmark (see photo of interior of bracelet) began as a bell motif in 1932 in the first Bell Trading Post, located in Albuquerque, NM. Some other hallmarks, such as the one on this bracelet with the arrow and the bell, were added as hallmarks throughout the 1960s. Please note that the date of origin of the bracelet shown is an estimate, circa 1960s, before or after. During the days of the Bell Trading Posts, tourists purchased the Navajo style jewelry in shops along Route 66 to take home with them as souvenirs.
