RARE 19thC SHOP FRONT ZINC BULLS HEADS
2x rare 19th Century fragments from a French butcher’s store front depicting bulls heads. There would have been a single row of these in full width above the front window. There are remnants of the original red paint on the wonderful patinated zinc. Sold as seen, but each fragment could be mounted on old boards, or each trimmed as single shield shaped heads. Scarce survivors and highly decorative pieces! The fragments each 27cm high, one 70cm wide, the other 61cm. The heads each measured inclusive of the shield: height and width 27cm
