Classic 14k yellow gold and diamond ring features a gorgeous blue star sapphire with a very pronounced 6 ray star. The stone is cut in a smooth cabochon with no facets, which enhances the appearance of the star. Ring is marked 14k inside shank, and it weighs 6.4 grams. Round sapphire is approx. 6mm. Small diamonds are old European cut (OEC). Stones are all in good vintage condition. Setting has basketweave design in gold on top. Back of shank shows evidence of previous sizing. Ring is size 5-3/4 (could be resized within reason by your jeweler) and could be worn by a woman or a man. Original box from Hong Kong’s Burma Co. (specializing in Jade, Star Sapphire) is included.
