English c.1910 Edwardian 18k gold earrings with mother-of-pearl
From the English Edwardian period, c.1910s, this pair of stud earrings is crafted in solid 18k gold and mother-of-pearl, finished with white enamel and set with natural pearls. Originally designed as a pair of cufflinks, they have been sympathetically converted by us into earrings, preserving the original materials and proportions. An all-white palette—iridescent mother-of-pearl, luminous pearls, and crisp enamel—creates a restrained, minimal elegance. Rather than relying on color, the design builds depth through luster and texture: the soft glow of nacre, the glass-smooth sheen of enamel, and the warm gold framing together convey the Edwardian taste for delicacy and refinement. Now available on our website.
